Regarding the material of Neko Saramagu
It is made from stoneware, a type of ceramic known as "Stoneware." Stoneware has properties intermediate between earthenware and porcelain.
It is a flexible, non-porous material, fired at high temperatures, which gives it superior durability and heat retention compared to other ceramic products. Also, as its name "Stone" suggests, it has a stone-like texture and a sense of weightiness.
The Neko Saramagu leverages these characteristics of Stoneware, and by using different types of glazes, the varying textures become an accent.
