A SOU・SOU textile and Kyoto Yuzen fabric encased in resin,
creating a rich, deep texture. A set of a made-in-Japan chopstick case and natural material chopsticks.
The fabric's unique pattern cannot be replicated by printing, and
since the fabric is used randomly, each item has a unique pattern arrangement.
In this manufacturing method, the color changes between the dyed fabric and the resin-processed color. It was difficult to achieve the envisioned color and
texture, so we focused on the finish, and
together with textile artisans and molding artisans,
we repeated prototypes until the fabric's texture and color achieved a good aesthetic.
