◇ United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice (Congress)
The UN's largest international conference on crime prevention and criminal justice, held once every five years!
An international conference held in Kyoto! The first time in 50 years it's been held in Japan!
Although this Congress was postponed for nearly a year,
it was successfully held from March 7-12 at the Kyoto International Conference Center.
Dignitaries from approximately 150 countries participated in the conference!
Due to it being held during the COVID-19 pandemic, it was implemented as a "hybrid event," combining in-person attendance with online participation.
◇ Overall Theme
Under the theme of promoting crime prevention, criminal justice, and the rule of law towards the achievement of the "2030 Agenda," guidelines were issued to effectively address threats such as organized crime, corruption, and terrorism faced by the international community.
*2030 Agenda: An action plan adopted at an international summit, advocating for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
From the perspective of the SDGs within the overall theme of the "2030 Agenda,"
the distribution of plastic bottles to conference participants was abolished, and our company's POKETLE was adopted.
