We participated in a cleanup event organized by OSG Corporation as part of the "Sutehaji" project.
What is the "Sutehaji" project?
Through the idea that "disposable is shameful," this project aims to encourage everyone (children, seniors, businesses, local governments, etc.), everyday, everywhere, to raise awareness and take action, with businesses and local governments working together to address marine plastic issues and various other social problems arising from disposables.
It is a project that aims to work with everyone to change behavior.
At Nishikinohama, close to Kansai International Airport,
we started "plastic digging" instead of clam digging!!
Since it's a beach, there's a lot of large trash.

It's so vast, it's really tough.
Don't forget to hydrate in between.

This is how much trash we collected.
We'll compete to see who collected the most trash in the results announcement.
April 16th was the first day of the clam digging season at Nishikinohama.
I'm happy that we could help make the beach clean and enjoyable.
Thank you for all your hard work, everyone who participated!
Let's gradually change each person's actions and make "being ashamed to litter" the norm😊
